He has participated in hundreds of missions to include, air operations, body recovery, search, cave rescue, mine rescue, vehicle extrication, vertical rescue, trench rescue, and fire support. Some of David's key deployments include Haiti, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Alabama, Thailand, Burma and Japan after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
David has participated in hundreds of trauma operations in every climate and terrain. He served as a National Association of Search and Rescue (NASAR) Instructor, and as a Public Safety Scuba Instructor (PSSI) for Dive Rescue International. He is a veteran operational water recovery diver and has served as a Rescue Team Leader, Trainer and Incident Commander.
